No Back and Forth
Be it at shopping mall parking lot ramps or at hill stations, we’ve all held our breath when a stationery car ahead rolls back before accelerating. The hill-hold feature does away with this worry by preventing the vehicle from rolling backwards, even as your foot moves from the brake to the accelerator pedal. This is done by sensors in a car detecting when it is on an incline and continuing to apply brake pressure (for a set duration) as your foot moves from the brake pedal to the accelerator.
